What do you do with leftover chocolate ganache and pears?
Why, you serve them with pancakes!
Make your pancake mix the night before and let it rest in the fridge overnight, and all you have to do the next day is heat a pan and start cooking 🙂
Hearty Oat Pancakes
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups buttermilk*
1 tsp vanilla (optional)
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
Mix the oats and buttermilk, and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Allow to rest overnight, so that the oats soften.
Cook as normal.
Serve with anything you like 😀
*To make your own buttermilk, add 2 Tbs vinegar to 2 cups milk; stir, and allow to sit for half an hour to turn.
